Since moving to the PNW a few years back, I have become obsessed with the overwhelming amount of natural beauty of this region! In the first of what will hopefully be many pieces celebrating the vistas and foliage of the area, I drew up this early morning view of Mount Rainier in the spring, complete with some bear cubs frolicking in a field of lupine and avalanche lilies. Hopefully it does a tiny bit of justice to the real mountain!
